How to get from the museum to the lockers
Leave the museum by the main entrance on Dionysiou Areopagitou and walk down Makrygianni Street, the pedestrian street that runs south from the museum. After about two minutes you reach the small streets of the Makrygianni neighbourhood; Lempesi is one of them, a quiet residential street between Makrygianni Street and Syngrou Avenue. Number 11 is our blue storefront.
Doing it the other way round is the usual plan: drop your bags with us first, then walk up to the museum with nothing on your shoulders. The museum opens at 9:00 every day and the queue is shortest in the first hour, so booking your locker the evening before saves you the first minutes of the day.
The Acropolis itself is a further five minutes uphill from the museum along Dionysiou Areopagitou, and the Akropoli metro station is two minutes from our door. You can spend the whole day between the three and come back for your bags whenever you like before 22:00.

How it works
- Book and pay online. Pick a size and pay by card: your QR code arrives by email straight away.
- Drop your bags. Scan the QR code at the terminal and the locker opens. No booking? Pay by card at the terminal instead, if a locker is free.
- Come and go. The same QR code reopens your locker as often as you like until 22:00.

Questions travellers ask
Can I leave a suitcase at the Acropolis Museum?
The museum's two cloakrooms are for backpacks and bulky items during your visit, not a left-luggage service, and the museum states it is not responsible for what you leave there. Our lockers at Lempesi 11 are three minutes away and take luggage up to 90 cm.
How long does it take to walk from the lockers to the Acropolis?
About eight minutes: three to the museum, then five more uphill along the Dionysiou Areopagitou promenade to the ticket entrance of the Acropolis.
Can I come back for my bags several times during the day?
Yes. Your QR code reopens your locker as many times as you like during your rental, until 22:00.
