These terms are written in English, the working language of our customers. A Greek version is available on request at contact@lockersofacropolis.com.

2. The service

We provide self-service luggage lockers at Lempesi 11, Athens. You book a locker size, you receive a QR code, and you open your locker yourself at the terminal. There is no staffed cloakroom and no handover of your belongings to us: your bags stay in a locker that only your QR code opens.

Opening hours are 9:00 to 22:00, seven days a week. Lockers cannot be accessed outside these hours.

3. Prices and payment

All prices shown on this site are in euros and include Greek VAT at the applicable rate. Current rates per locker size:

Hourly rates are capped at the daily rate. There are two ways to pay. If you book online, you pay by card at the time of booking and your QR code is sent to you by email. If you come without a booking, you pay by card at the terminal, subject to locker availability. There is no free reservation: a locker is only reserved once it has been paid for.

4. Duration, extension and overstay

You choose your rental period when booking and may reopen your locker as many times as you like during that period using the same QR code. You can extend at the terminal if a locker remains available.

If you collect your belongings after the period you paid for, the additional time is charged at the rates above. to be completed: grace period and overstay policy.

5. Cancellation and refunds

You can request the cancellation of an online booking from your booking account up to 2 days before its start time. Closer to the start time, the cancellation option is no longer available. to be completed: whether a cancelled booking is refunded, in full or in part, and within what time. Once a rental has started, to be completed: refund policy for early collection.

Where EU consumer law grants a right of withdrawal, please note that for services performed on a specified date or period, that right does not apply once the service has begun.

6. What you may not store

You may not place in a locker:

We may open a locker without notice where there is a reasonable suspicion that its contents endanger people or property, or at the request of the police or another competent authority.

7. Liability

Lockers are made of steel, fixed in place, monitored by video surveillance and openable only with your personal QR code. That said, this is a self-service facility: you keep custody of your belongings and you are responsible for closing your locker properly and for keeping your QR code confidential.

Our liability is limited to damage directly caused by our own fault. It does not cover items listed in section 6, nor loss resulting from a QR code shared or left visible by you, nor a locker left improperly closed.

Maximum compensation per locker: to be completed. Insurance cover: to be completed.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or gross negligence, where such limitation is not permitted by Greek law.

8. Unclaimed belongings

Belongings left beyond the paid rental period are treated as unclaimed. We will attempt to contact you using the details you gave when booking. to be completed: retention period before unclaimed items are handed over or disposed of in accordance with Greek law.

9. Access and security

Your QR code is personal. Do not share it, photograph it in public or leave it visible. Anyone holding your QR code can open your locker, and we cannot tell them apart from you.

The locker area is covered by video surveillance. See our Privacy Policy for how those recordings are handled.

10. Complaints

Write to contact@lockersofacropolis.com and we will reply as quickly as we can. If we cannot resolve the matter, EU consumers may use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Greek law. The courts of Athens have jurisdiction, without prejudice to the protection consumers enjoy under the mandatory law of their country of residence.
