From the station exit to Lempesi 11
Akropoli's exit is on Makrygianni Street at the corner of Athanasiou Diakou. From there, follow Athanasiou Diakou towards Syngrou Avenue for one block and turn into Lempesi. Number 11 is a two-minute walk with a suitcase.
This is the natural stop if you arrive in Athens by metro from the airport (line 3 to Syntagma, then one stop on line 2) or from Piraeus port (line 1 to Omonia, then line 2). It is also the station to use on your way out: drop your bags in the morning, come back for them in the afternoon, and you are on the platform two minutes later.
A tip if you are catching a flight: the airport metro from Syntagma runs every 36 minutes and takes about 40 minutes. Add the two stops and count an hour and a quarter from our door to the terminal.

How it works
- Book and pay online. Pick a size and pay by card: your QR code arrives by email straight away.
- Drop your bags. Scan the QR code at the terminal and the locker opens. No booking? Pay by card at the terminal instead, if a locker is free.
- Come and go. The same QR code reopens your locker as often as you like until 22:00.

Are there luggage lockers inside Akropoli metro station?
No, Athens metro stations have no left-luggage service. Our self-service lockers at Lempesi 11 are two minutes from the exit.
Which metro line goes to Akropoli?
Line 2, the red line. From the airport, take line 3 to Syntagma and change to line 2 for one stop. From Piraeus port, take line 1 to Omonia and change to line 2.
Can I drop my bags before 9:00?
The lockers open at 9:00 and close at 22:00, every day. Bags cannot be dropped or collected outside these hours.
